Trill or Not Trill?

img_7292Kanye West dropped a new album last week and so this week we drop some new programs, ice breakers and team builders based on The Life of Pablo. (By the way, This album is starting to really grow on me.)

TITLE: Kanye vs Taylorkanye taylor
DESCRIPTION: Kanye West and Taylor Swift have a history that’s gone back and forth since Kanye interrupted Taylor on stage at the VMAs 7 years ago. His lyrics on a new song sparked up the heat again.
KANYE: I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. / Why? I made that (expletive) famous
TAYLOR: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
EXERCISE:
this is similar to the telephone game.
Part One: Stand in line, but not close enough so that you can hear above a whisper. First person in line creates a statement that Kanye would make to Taylor Swift. Final person states out loud what was said. If correct the group wins. The game continues with part two.
Part Two: The second person creates a message that would serve as a message to to be passed along. Please remember when choosing messages they must be at least 10 words in length and must use the quotes from the artists as references.
ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS:
•What made this difficult?
•Why did you choose that message to start? (To the message creators)
•What could have made this more efficient and effective?
•what was wrong and /or right about either artist’s statement
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
•Develop critical thinking methods
•Gain skills how to effectively communicate
